Imma was our midwife for my second baby. She supported us in a beautiful home birth. Imma helped me feel confident and safe for the home birth. She gave us a lot of information before to prepare us and was very caring and professional. She also gave after care and home visits. I would highly recommend contacting Imma if you are considering a home birth. Thanks so much Imma!

I gave birth to my son with Imma 11 weeks ago, and I am so grateful for the experience and expertise she brought to our experience. She was gentle, knowledgable, kind, generous, loving, and everything you would want in a midwife. This was my first child, and I would definitely work with her again if I am still in Barcelona. Her English is wonderful, and she made me feel confident having a baby in a country that is not my own.
I feel very lucky having had Imma at our side for my first birth and can recommend her 100%. It was a gentle, peaceful home birth at our pace. I never felt rushed, on the contrary she helped me being confident and positive and gave me the feeling we’d have all the time in the world. Imma is very professional, patient and loving. I appreciated her patience through the night of prelabour and being there for me when I had doubts. She did a fantastic job helping me breastfeeding! I also like her approach towards homeopathy and natural home cures!
I have had contact with many Midwives in the US as an assistant to friends and women in labor, as well as giving birth to my first in NY with a midwife as well as a home birth. First of all, the impression you get from Imma is one of Passion and Affection. She is very passionate about her work and is dedicated and professional, while at the same time exuding an air of love and affection and warmth which immediately makes you at ease about divulging and sharing in such a private and special moment in your life with her. As I’d had experience in home birth I was ready with my list of questions and concerns when midwife-hunting. I found Imma to be all that others had said and some more. At the time of birth she came quickly and was in tune with me at each step of labor, helping and interfering as needed and giving you space when it was not. Though labor can be difficult I believe that with a dedicated professional in a calm and peaceful surrounding at home it is the best experience one could hope for. And To confirm other reviews her postnatal care is phenomenal and I can’t recommend her more as a wonderful choice if you and your partner choose to do home birth in Spain. Communication is easy (her English is great!!) and she will attend to all your needs and that of the baby, thoughtful to each detail!
We've just had the pleasure of having Imma deliver our precious daughter. I can honestly say she is amazing and would recommend her 1000 times over.We are currently residing in Spain,but originally from Cape Town, South Africa. God led us to Imma, who speaks English and was willing to travel to our home (an hours drive from her house). The delivery was like no other, she is so gentle, considerate , hygienic, empathetic, patient, knowledgeable, encouraging, the list goes on and on. We could not have had it any better.She respected all our wishes and we had no problem doing as she instructed when needed. All in all she is highly recommended as a midwife, you won't have to worry about a thing if you have Imma.Also her post partum care is phenomenal! She won't discharge you until everything is 100% with you and baby. Thank you Imma we were so blessed and thankful to God for having you .
